Made from neat Ethanol, Spirit Vinegar is mainly used as a food ingredient. With the addition of Malt extract to colour the liquid, Spirit Vinegar is also used as cheaper alternative to Malt Vinegar. Most condiment and sauce manufacturers use this type of vinegar in their food preparation.
Spirit Vinegar is mainly supplied in large bulk tankers but is also available in smaller IBC containers where required. The strength of the vinegar ranges from 20% to 5%, however, as part of our sustainability programme we prefer to offer a greater strength of vinegar therefore travelling less roads miles and offering very competitive costs.
